Scheduled an appointment at 9:30 for 10:10. Showed up on time and still waited over an hour. The front desk staff is always short and unmannered. The wait time has somehow gone up even though I scheduled it over an hour ago and showed up on time. Terrible.
I took my son the location on Orthopaedic Drive and we will never be back. We had reserved time and still sat for almost two hours to be seen. We were seen by Dr. Greer. My son was given a very strong drug for a reoccurring ear infection. When I went to pickup the meds the pharmacist told me she was concerned that they were giving it to a child under the age of 18 because of all of the side effects. My son is a big kid but the pharmacist still said she didn't care how big he was that she would not give it to her son. She did call the DCUC to follow up and they still said to give it to him. She told us to watch our son very carefully while he was on it and that's what we did. After being on the medicine (Levaquin) for two days he started having horrible stomach pains. I called DCUC back and never heard anything, so I called the pharmacist back and she told me to take it off of it immediately. I then called the DCUC back again because my sons normal doctor was not in and still heard nothing. Now it is Saturday and I have no call back or meds to give my son to fight the ear infection. I called again and was put on hold for over 15 minutes to finally be told that the doctor is refusing to change the medicine because of my sons size. Really - you want me to continue to give him a medicine that could harm him. The phone nurse was nice and I know she is only in the middle. I did tell them that I would never be back and I was going to post something about this experience. I'm going to try to get my son in to his normal doctor on Monday and I will post his comments about the medicine that was giving to my child and if he felt he should have continued it with having bad side effects. Parents - please think twice before you go to this location... For those reading - look up this drug and all of the side effects. I feel bad that I even gave it to him as long as I did...
I’ve always had a great experience
The entire staff did a great job. We were quickly checked in and had a very short wait to see Dr. Moran --- he really reminds me of how family practices use to be --- he seems to genuinely care and was very thorough in explaining his diagnosis and recommended treatment. Highly recommend!!
Been sitting here for an hour and a half with waiting room basically empty for a quick breathing test for work. Not very convenient or quick about anything they do.
