Deep scratches from materials they placed on my new washer and dryer were brought to their attention and Sunrises response was that they didn't charge me for handling appliances. And that "they have been doing this before I was born".
The craftsmanship was sub par. I can't help but think I could have done a better job with some YouTube training , extra time and a few buddies. Dried grout was left hardened in my sinks, on the walls/baseboards , countertops ,and my appliances that they carelessly moved around.
I can't say how many times Sunrise Flooring has installed carpets and floors for me in different homes for my clients. They always do an amazing job and Carl Westfall is so educational and always gives me the best information that helps me save dollars while making great choices. Sunrise is my go to for all my carpet, tile, and floor needs. A+++
Great deals on all types of carpet! We came back for business again after a week to have new vinyl put in a bathroom. Both times the process was courteous, quick, and high quality. We're very pleased with the attention to detail, price point, and styles to choose from! We will be back in the future! I would highly recommend this to anyone whether you're wanting to fix up a house to sell or building new this is our go to guy.
I also have to leave a negative review unfortunately. My review is not on the flooring itself because the flooring is beautiful, my review is on the company, workers, and owners. The installers were sloppy and had absolutely no respect for our home. Our brand new appliances were covered in grout hand prints which took me quite a bit of time to clean off. There was grout on both our bathroom and porcelain kitchen sink. There was grout on our freshly painted walls which we had just paid to get painted and there were scratches covering the top of our washer and dryer which we owned for 3 days and hadn't even gotten a chance to use yet. All of these things I was willing to overlook because the floors were very pretty and what I asked for, however when speaking with the owner about these issues he immediately got defensive and began to say things like "well we weren't paid to move your appliances" even though he cleared moving them for me a week before. He blamed us as the consumer for his employees wrong doings and never once apologized or sympathized. He even went so far as to try to blame the scratches on a stray cat that was outside. I also overlooked these things because I don't let little things bother me and I had recently been informed that the owner was dealing with a personal issue at the time. It wasn't until Carl went onto a social platform and blatantly lied and manipulated facts in order to make us as the victims look like we were attacking him that I felt I needed to speak up and no longer overlook their wrong doings. I feel if you are looking for quality flooring installed by someone who genuinely cares about their profession and your home you will have better luck somewhere else. It is clear the workers here wanted to just get it done as quickly and sloppily as possible then sweep their incompetency under the rug. It is with a heavy heart that I have to for the first time in my life write a bad review for a family owned business and I pray it will be the last time.
Additionally the owner/operator informed me that he was handling personal issues recently and that my concerns "were not a priority" .
A 2 star rating is generous considering the blatant lack of dignity , respect and pride I experienced from this company.
I hope anyone who entrusts Sunrise with their home improvements and assets has better luck with them than I did. This is my first time to ever file a complaint or write a negative review.
Please keep in mind that the owner responded to my significant others google review with blantant lies in an attempt to make himself look like the victim. Which is extremely unprofessional in my opinion.
Unfortunately , I am unable to write a positive review for the services provided by sunrise. The company demonstrated multiple incompetencies including the mess they left behind , the damage to my new appliances, and the personal insults to my age they resorted to when I requested a resolution.
Went in today to pick up rugs was told would be done Two weeks ago, then told would be done last week, then told to come in today and my rugs would be clean by then. When i got there the rugs were rolled up uncleaned and left damp so smelled horrendous. Was told couldn't clean them and no one bothered to call me or let me know this whole time because "i was on vacation". The lady was so kind to carry a rug out only to drop it on ground behind my car and walk back inside! So rude, so unprofessional! Now i have moldy smell in addition to dirty rugs. Do Not go here!
