Visited the new family entertainment area. Had fun bowling and playing arcade games. Laser tag opens next week. Great for preteens and up. Fun for adults too. Has bar and restaurant.
The arcade is a little small but they have plenty of bowling lanes. Everything is really clean and nice! Plenty to do if the kids want to see a movie. Great family experience.
They just updated Newburgh Showplace and it is amazing! Restaurant, bar, bowling, movies, and an arcade!
The new bowling alley and arcade offer a new diversion if nothing on the big screen is to your liking. The bar area is a nice addition offering a good, if a somewhat small, selection of craft and seasonal beers to enjoy before your show/while you bowl.
Absolutely overpriced. Took my daughter's to go eat and bowl. $32 dollars to bowl a single game a piece. Anywhere else we could have bowled 5 games. Food prices? My god, 2 cheeseburgers w/ fries and a French dip w/ fries at $36 dollars total, with the worst portion sizes. Burgers were tiny, French dip was about 3 inches in total. And roughly 6 to 7 fries per plate. $5.50 for a 12oz beer, and the bartender "Tracey" I believe, looked like she was as high as a kite and absolutely horrible. Management was incredibly rude and didn't seem to care what was happening. If your looking for a good night out with the family I would strongly urge you to go anywhere but here. This place is a joke.
Wonderfully remodeled and sporting something for the whole family, Showplace Newburgh is always a great place to spend a rainy afternoon. The employees are always friendly and the theaters clean.
Remodeling completed and it is the best place around for fun and a movie. The seating has been upgraded throughout plus reclining chairs in one theater that also serves you food. The gaming arcade and bowling alleys are great fun for the big and little kids.
