Overall good food, but the price for the buffet was a little high. It was not posted anywhere. Did not realize it was over $8 for lunch buffet. If i had seen that i probably would have passed. But the food was good, even if the selection was smaller than other places. May return again sometime or simply order a few items for take out.
The food is horrible. We went today and food was cold and did not have a taste. When asked about hot food, the owner was hostile and claim that the food was hot. I will not be spending my money there anymore.
Great service. Good food
As the daughter of the owners and a hostess, cashier, and waitress here, I'm gonna drop a few tips on how to make the most of your experience here. 1) Come in early. Food is typically fresher earlier on. If you come in at 7:30 or 8 right before the buffet closes and it's a slow crowd, you're not going to get very good food. We do try our best to accommodate you as customers; however, we don't like wasting food, especially with my parents' childhoods.
Would recommend to anyone
2) If you come in later at the night, you're gonna find my family eating. Why? Because just like your families, we like to have our meals together. That's not possible with any other meals. Everyone wakes up at different times. I'm on campus for lunch. My brother is at school. My parents are at the restaurant from 9 AM to 9:30 PM. However, I do try to keep on top of my tables as a waitress, but sometimes I just want to spend time with my family. If you come in, you'll see one of us get up in the middle of dinner for you. If it's late, we'll tell you to check the buffet or offer you the menu. We will work with you.
We try our best to serve you as best as we can, but we're human and we get tired. Just work with us, and we'll work with you. Also, don't forget to tip your servers!
3) For best selection and fresh food, order on the menu. We make everything in the back fresh, except soups which are made in advance and kept warm. All your entrees and appetizers are made in the back. Call in your order at least 10 minutes in advance, and swing by to pick it up. We forgot something? Sorry, we're human and it's often different people swooping in to pack one order. We will often apologize profusely and give you the option to either get your credit back on a future order or swing by and pick it up. Don't yell at us, because I guarantee if you tried to work my job, you would make those mistakes too.
4)The buffet is also small in order to keep the food hot. Yes, it's not much to choose from, but it's what customers have been eating for 20 years now.
Have been eating here for 20 years. While it's not a super buffet like some others, the food is excellent. The staff is very gracious. If I, and others have been coming here for 20 years that ought to tell you something about how good the food and service is!
